Executive Summary:  International Fortune 100 Banking organization engages AMR for IT Asset Inventory services.

Profile: The client is a large banking organization with headquarters in the Northeast U.S. 

Situation:  The client required a widespread physical validation and inventory of their Information Technology assets in connection with a pending outsourcing agreement.   

Solution:  AMR managed and executed the physical inventory and barcode tagging of over 80,000 computers and peripherals in 4,000 banking and data center locations worldwide.  These locations were comprised of more than 500 separate U.S. and Canadian sites, 100+ sites in India, more than 50 sites in Asia Pacific, and approximately 124 sites in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  The client was also able to leverage AMR’s web-based inventory process to address an additional 3,000 remote employees.  Utilizing our highly developed project management methodology, advanced technological tools, and comprehensive QC processes, AMR executed the full scope of this project within a 12-week period with over 95% accuracy. 

 Benefits:  This project was completed on time and within budget.  The client received cleansed inventory data that was effectively leveraged to negotiate a fair and reasonable IT outsourcing contract.
